Kudos to the University of Michigan-Dearborn for amplifying the voices of students.
Much lip service gets paid in Michigan to attracting, and retaining young, talented workers. This fall, in the heat of the presidential election, UM-Dearborn provides a direct connection between those future workers and the politicians.
To hear what they have to say, go to MiVote.org. The site is vigilantly bipartisan.
“Michigan is a must win state for both candidates,” UM-Dearborn Vice Chancellor Ed Bagale. “MiVote.org gives citizens, especially new voters, a voice. I cannot think of any better place to carry out this project than the University of Michigan-Dearborn and WTVS, channel 56 public television. Both are committed to community empowerment and improving the quaility of life for all citizens.”
