The term 'bipartisan' should be dropped from the lingo of open cadidate forums, and from daily use. Michigan has several other political parties, and an open discussion forum should not favor the main parties. The term 'bipartisan' should be replaced by 'non-partisan'. If a piece of legislation is worked on together by multiple parties, it is non-partisan in the same way that non-denominational is used for open religious forums.
