Winter Flint River Wonderland by Amy Couture

By The Center for Michigan - January 18, 2008

Flint River

People often complain about Michigan's weather, but I think it's truly beautiful. It can go from snowing to sunny and from sunny to raining in one day. I think the winter is the best thing about Michigan, the snow brings out its true beauty, and it's like our own winter wonderland. The Flint River is over 142 miles long and a very important river in Southeast, Michigan. This Picture was taken of Flint River in Genesee, Michigan on January 15, 2008.
