The One and Only Great Lakes by Kellie Crothers

By The Center for Michigan - March 31, 2008

Could it be the four seasons that brings people to Michigan or maybe it’s the beautiful Great Lakes. The amazing fresh water shoreline that spreads out as far as the eye can see?  Enjoyable summers picking cherries in the north, the most beautiful trees in the fall from any where in the country. Winter wonderland couldn’t be anywhere else, beautiful snow blowing across our lakes and glistening in the sun is a sight everyone should see.  Michigan’s colors from the trees in the fall  brings tourist from all over the world to enjoy as you and me. The wonderful tree tunnel near Mackinaw is a sight everyone should see. Mackinaw Island is definitely a trip back through time that is relaxing and enjoyable for every age, you see. Take this all in with one big breath and anyone can see this wonderful state, City to city, from town to town Michigan is definitely number one all around! Yes Michigan is in a recession now, but we all need to believe. It is true Michigan indeed once did redeem! Only Michiganders understand the love if this great state, it is the one and only Great Lakes.
