The Detroit News - "Increasing College Grads has Big Payoff for State"

Civic leaders across Michigan are dreaming of white knights who will endow their communities with college scholarships similar to the Kalamazoo Promise, which guarantees students' college tuition and has spurred economic development. But such hopes are not enough.

Much more visionary, assertive state leadership is needed to improve both growth and educational attainment.
