Spreading the Message

By John Bebow - November 16, 2007

The many hundreds of us working on the Michigan's Defining Moment Public Engagement Campaign have been blessed with waves of kind media coverage, none more on point than this November 14 editorial in the Lansing State Journal...

"Michigan's problems are complex and not all of them are within the state's control. The Center for Michigan won't be able to solve them all, certainly not on its own. But they are taking a fresh approach. They are reaching out to collaborate. They are setting an example. And, more than likely, they will collect some ideas worth acting on. There's long been a saying that heaven helps those who help themselves. If the politicians aren't getting it done, perhaps the people can. And thanks to the Center for Michigan for making it easy to do."
