		<description>Thanks for this Phil.  Do you know if anyone in Michigan is trying to get a piece of the &quot;water based data center&quot; action?  US Patent # 20080209234, filed by Google, I think, describes floating information centers that use the water for cooling the computers.  A large part of the energy consumption of these 50-100 MW energy guzzlers is due to the cooling load.  Seems to me that Michigan and Canada could do some kind of joint venture.  As long as the data centers do not warm up the lakes too much, or cause other environmental problems.</description>
