Have you ever thought about giving public office a try? Do you think you can make the tough, informed choices necessary to lead Michigan's public institutions through challenging times?
If so, the Michigan Political Leadership Program is a great training ground.
Each year, this Michigan State University institute brings together bright lights from across the state for a year of bipartisan/nonpartisan learning, idea sharing and training in the tactics and information complexities of both policy and politics.
The Center for Michigan's own Nancy Short (one of our three new statewide outreach coordinators) is an MPLP graduate.
MPLP is accepting applications through September 5 for its next crop of 24 year-long fellows.
See the attached press release for more details.
