Michigan Innovators

By John Bebow - March 13, 2008

So, you think Michigan is a place dominated by tired and fading 20th Century businesses.

Or, you're convinced your children and grandchildren will have no choice but to move away because there are no opportunities or jobs in Michigan.

WRONG!

The proof: michiganinnovators.org/home.

Bud Gibson, a professor at Eastern Michigan University's School of Business, regularly provides video evidence of the too-often-under-the-radar energy in Michigan's knowledge economy.

"Over time, we expect the site to become a highly visible repository of stories that showcase the modern, innovative spirit lurking in the Michigan economy," Gibson writes on his website.

Let's just call it "Woo-Whoo-Tube."
