I have lived in Michigan all of my life. I love living here; the change of seasons is what I love the most. In the end of Winter I love that I can smell spring coming, that nice after rain shower smell of warm dew and the popping up of flowers. After it rains in the spring time I love walking out in the mist of it, and maybe being able to see a rainbow. I love it when those April showers bring May flowers; they are so beautiful, and most of them smell so good. Waking up and hearing the birds in the morning chirping are like soft singing in my ears. In the summer time I love going to Lake Michigan and swimming in the lake. When my family goes out to the lake I feel like it brings us closer together. In the summer are also most of my horse shows. I Event which is slow galloping my horse across a long stretch of land which has jumps set up on it in a course. When I ride I can feel the wind through my helmet and see it in my horse's mane. I love riding my horses, and I couldn't be able to do it if it was zero or one hundred degrees all the time like in Antarctica or AZ. In the Fall I love how the leaves change. All the pretty colors of red, yellow, brown, and green. I remember when I was little I liked to go around the block and gathering tons of pretty leaves, and we put them on wax paper and drew over them, and then put them up on the fridge. Then In the winter I like living here because of the snow from the lakes. I go sledding, snowmobiling, tubing, snowboarding, skiing, and I LOVE to ice skate. Those are some of the reasons why I love living here in Michigan. The only thing about Michigan I would want to change is the economy I would want to make more jobs for everybody. Don't use so much technology, use people. I believe that everyone will be out of jobs if they keep replacing people with robots/ machines. I would also like to see gas prices lower, higher income families pay higher taxes, and more people moving into Michigan than out of Michigan so they can experience the Michigan that I have for the last 18yrs. But other than that I love living here and I wouldn't want to have grown up anywhere else.
