The reason why I love Michigan is because it is where home is. My family is here. Although I have thought about what it would be like to leave because of the economy, I can't get myself to leave. Where else can you go to find every possible weather condition (except hurricanes). When times are tough, everyone helps each other get by.
I feel that the picture I've attached sums it all up. I love Michigan because Michigan is home.

The fact that we can help each other out is the way it should be, regardless of where we live. So I agree with you wholeheartedly. However, I've yet to find a meaningful job and have been laid off 12 weeks last year. Because of this, we've been unable to get a mortgage. When I graduate from college in a year and a half, I'm also going to have student loans to deal with. If there are no jobs that pay more than I'm making now, we're going to have to leave.
