Four Seasons for the Price of One State by Laurie Forrest

By The Center for Michigan - December 18, 2007

I love Michigan because of the diversity of the different seasons. Right now we are enjoying snow which is really pretty even though winter has not officially started. I love the fall with all the different colors and the Indian summers which is my favorite time of the year. Summer can be great with really hot days with all the swimming and sunning that is available with our great lakes in the lower and the U.P.  Spring bring new growth and when it is 50 degrees out it seems like it is hot out especially coming through the winter with really cold days. If you wait a week the weather will change to extremes high, lows, dry spells or wet spells that is why I like Michigan.
