Mike Simowski, a senior citizen health care professional, took part in a Community Conversation in Detroit yesterday. Here's what he had to say in an email to the Center for Michigan…
"Please accept my thanks and gratitude for your facilitation of this most needed-process as we approach a very crucial time for our state… Your facilitators did a fine job and were sensitive to and most respectful of the varying perspectives of those in attendance… As a life-long resident of Michigan, it is clear that your efforts will have a positive influence for generations to come and will 'set the table' for what we collectively must do!"
Mike is one of more than 800 new recruits across Michigan who've participated in the Michigan's Defining Moment Public Engagement Campaign since the beginning of the year.
