Teacher salary in 2005 was the third highest in the nation, pupil expenditure 15th highest in 2006. Complaining that our increase this year is the lowest is no cause for complaint, considering we were in the top third 2 years ago in spending, and are still in the top half. This is not much of a drop. This is from the 2008 Michigan scorecard, which I believe came from the Center's site earlier this year.
